At MONSTRA - Lisbon Animation Festival from March 12 to 22, Latvian animation was represented on such a large scale for the first time – contemporary film programs for children and adults, retrospectives of individual directors with masterclasses, industry networking events, and the participation of Latvian directors on festival juries. Meanwhile, at the Lisbon Puppet Museum, a major exhibition of puppets from the studio Animācijas Brigāde, dedicated to the significant 60‑year history of Latvian puppet animation in Europe, is on display until April 19.
