Riga IFF

Starting today, 12 March, RIGA IFF is opening the submissions for the four competitions seeking features, shorts, and music videos that echo the vision of the festival. Over the past 10 seasons, the Riga International Film Festival or RIGA IFF has firmly established its presence as a remarkable and unique voice in the Baltic Sea Region. From year to year, RIGA IFF is striving to unite filmmakers and their audiences in a celebration of bold, daring cinematic experiences. So mark your calendars – the festival’s 11th edition will take place on 17–27 October in Riga, Latvia. If you aspire to be a part of its competition programme, read on and submit your work.

Excitingly, this year RIGA IFF is more than doubling the monetary prize for the Feature Film Competition – a grant of EUR 10,000 will be shared by the director and producer of the winning feature. All four competitions will be considered and judged by esteemed selection committees and juries of regionally and internationally acclaimed film professionals. For international shorts, the submission window is open until 31 May, while the submissions for all other competitions will be accepted up until 30 June. But act swiftly – submissions are free of charge only until 25 March!
