In 17th-century Swedish Livonia, where witches, sorcerers and werewolves roam, a young woman is accused of witchcraft. As her inevitable death at the stake looms, she calls on the werewolves for help. The next morning, an 82-year-old man named Thiess arrives at the court and states that he is a werewolf. Step by step, the mind games he plays reveal everyone’s darkest secrets.
