In the land of the Flatlanders, everyday life spirals into chaos when a man traps the sun to charge his electric car. Soon neighbors, a sunglasses vendor, farmers, botanists, and others begin tugging at the blazing sphere — each wanting it for themselves. The struggle escalates until the sun crashes to the ground and darkness spreads. The last ray of hope lies with an electric shop clerk, who discovers a gigantic remote control in the clock tower — one that can rewind time... and the entire film.
